Hi. I'm Jay, a freelance designer living and working on a hill called Sugar Mountain, tucked away in the woods of East Texas. And that's perfect 'cause it keeps my overhead low, my hourly rate affordable, and my creative cortex stimulated.

The East Texas woods aren't as far away as they used to be. Thanks to modern technologies like a truck, cell phone, high speed satellite connection, and a portable computer—it's like I'm sitting in the office building right next to yours.

So exactly what do I do? I help businesses communicate to their customers. I design printed materials like logos, business cards, brochures, newsletters, catalogs, direct mail, magazine & newspaper advertising, flyers, posters, t-shirts, signage and display exhibits. And on occasion I build websites like this one.

I have a BFA in Communication Design from the University of North Texas, and over 18 years experience in advertising. I've lived and worked in the East Texas area since 1995 and worked for advertising agencies & print companies, non profit organizations, small and large companies, government agencies, politicians and schools. Some clients I've worked with include: The Gathering, Habitat for Humanity,Teen Mania, Apex Geoscience, Cedar Ridge Studios, Auto Arch, Skeeter Boats, Doskocil and UT Tyler.

If you like my work, give me a call 903-521-1172. Lets get together over coffee and discuss how you can start communicating better with your customer and improve your business.
